The Trust Dashboard brings ledger balances, account information and recent activity together in one place. Filter by matter or date, review the total balance and distinguish between Client and Office ledgers for a clearer view of funds held.
Use the activity chart to see receipts, payments, transfers, office transfers and correction entries by month. Hover over each bar to view the amounts and understand what has come in, what has gone out and how money has moved between ledgers.
Trust Accounts records the accounts that hold client money, including each account’s type and status. Trust Ledgers connect a matter to a trust account and show its current balance, giving your team a straightforward way to follow money held for each matter.
Open a ledger to review its transactions, including the transaction type, amount, date, trust ledger and narrative. Receipts record money coming in, payments record money going out, and transfers move funds between ledgers. Office Transfers support moving funds to the office account for a billed invoice, while Journal Corrections provide a way to correct a posted entry.
Live balances: ledger balances show the current position, regardless of the date filters applied to the activity chart.
Clear account visibility: check whether funds are held in the Client or Office account.
Controlled records: posted transactions cannot be edited, helping preserve a reliable transaction history.
Connected information: move from the dashboard to a matter’s ledger and then into the underlying transactions.
